MEET (THE PERMANENT MEMBERS OF) THE TEAM!

The rest of the people joining the next Spark journey? It’s a surprise!

MIA STELLBERG, STAFF MANAGER

Mia’s goal in Spark is to help you and your team do your best work and enjoy the process while you’re at it. She is an expert esports and sports psychologist – having coached elite teams, she cares deeply about sustainable ways of working and healthy team dynamics. Mia is here to make sure things run smoothly, to support your growth as a group and as individuals, and to be someone you can turn to for guidance, feedback, or just a reality check when needed.

With over two decades in the games industry—working with the world’s top 10 League of Legends esports teams, OG (two-time international winner in Dota II), Olympic athletes, and countless game development squads—she brings a deep understanding of what it takes to build high-performing teams and long-term resilience. She’s worked with dozens of Supercell game teams, so she knows how games are built in this environment, and what it takes for people to thrive while making them.

Mia has seen everything over the years, but she’s the first to say she’s still learning. She is endlessly curious and deeply committed—not just to your progress, but her own. Spark challenges her, too—and she loves that. “It’s not just the participants who grow during the program. We do, too. That brings me so much joy!”

Outside of work, Mia is a triathlete and serious about pushing past limits. She doesn’t take herself too seriously though, and is shockingly chill for someone who casually crushes endurance sports. She loves cooking for hours while listening to music—her personal form of meditation.

STEPHAN DEMIRDJIAN, HEAD OF SPARK

Stephan is the overall program manager, in close contact with all teams and individuals during the process. You can think of him as the go-to-person to remove all obstacles, and make sure you have what you need to succeed in the program.

Stephan has been part of Supercell for over a decade, including nine years as the game lead for Hay Day, and he’s also co-founded two new game teams that didn’t make it. He believes there are valuable insights that can only be learned from trying, failing, trying again, and slowly figuring out how to build something great. He applies these learnings in his current work at the core of Supercell’s new game development – knowing that he will never stop learning on this front.

As a veteran at Supercell, Stephan will help you navigate the journey, connect you with the right people, and find your own voice within Supercell. Together with Mia, Stephan has shaped every week of Spark with intention, ensuring that each moment is structured to support identifying and building on the high performance elements of each team.

Stephan gets excited about how special an environment Spark is to learn personally from amazing experts. “Spark is a forever learning journey,” he says. “We humans never stop growing.” Speaking of growing, Stephan hasn’t outgrown his childhood love of pro wrestling – that as well as gym, running and spending time outside is how he likes to decompress.
